Ahmed Hoke is a brother that loves the art of creation. Whether it begins with a sketchbook, notepad, canvas, midi keyboard, or microphone he is constantly immersed in the creative process. As a youth growing up in Los Angeles he became fascinated with bombing (graffiti) and got to participate in the powerful movement of Hip Hop in it’s rawest form. After graduating Otis College in 1997 he went on to pursue a successful career in the video game world as a concept artist and 3d modeler/animator. In 2003 he made history by writing and illustrating the first Hip Hop manga @Large for Tokyopop. He has since gone on to produce three more books under the Tokyo banner including vol 1. of the surreal sci-fi adventure Heavenshield released in May of 2008.
